Chester Zoo

Date: 19th Jul 2018 @ 7:31am

Monday was our very exciting visit to Chester zoo. First, we enjoyed a fantastic workshop with a keeper who explained why conservation is important for the animals there. We learned about all the amazing work Chester zoo are doing to ensure the survival of their animals and those across the world. We even had a look at some artefacts that have been confiscated by customs at airports and ports around the world. The children (and adults) were fascinated!

Then we went on a tour of the zoo and found lots of new arrivals. The baby okapis were a favourite and the penguins featured high on many lists as well!

The children behaved impeccably throughout the visit and we felt privileged to be able to take them around the zoo.
