Reception news week commencing 25th September

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Friday saw Travelling Ted head off on his first home visit with one of the members of our class. If your children haven't already told you, Travelling Ted arrived to our class last Wednesday by special delivery! He has decided to visit the children of Warmingham to see what it is like to live here in comparison to his home in London. Each week one child will be selected by Travelling Ted to share their weekend with him. Returning to school then on the Monday to share their adventures with the rest of the class. The children are all very excied about our new visitor and are keen to be chosen to take him home.

On Tuesday we are very lucky to have Susi Waddington join us for a morning of art activities. Inspired by our City Atlas book she will help the children to create famous landmarks from our focus city of London. As this will be a morning of messy activities and we don't want their lovely new uniforms to get spoilt, please could the children come to school in clothes that are suitable for painting and other art activities. Thank you.

Lastly just a reminder that Thursday 28th will be at Sandbach Cricket Club.
