What a busy week!

The children have had a very productive week in numeracy. We have estimated and measured the amount of water various sized containers can hold as we discussed capacity. The children were all able to use language such as more, less, bigger and smaller. The have also used some of this language to identify 1 more and 1 less than a given number. In addition to this, we have started counting in 5's and looking at the repeated pattern. When counting in 5's it always ends in a 5 or a zero.

In literacy, the children have retold our familiar story of Titch through a variety of recounts. They have all really enjoyed these books and linking it to their homework when they were little. On that note, thank you all so much for all the wonderful work and photos! They were all so proud to show their books.

We have had some additional P.E lessons this week which has allowed the children to practice some of the key skills they have learnt over the year in readiness for sports day next week!

This Saturday is our Summer Fair, it would be lovely to see you there to support our school.
