Week commencing 22nd January 2018

The children have been introduced to our 'Sea of Dreams' book and have all worked hard on their descriptive writing tasks. The classroom is becoming very colourful with their wonderful underwater themed art work, please look at our gallery photos.

This week we will begin our Talk for Writing work on the 'Sea of Dreams' book. The children will work collaboratively to design our story map using pictures and symbols to re-tell the story. 

I was very pleased with all the children last week as we learnt the days of the week and how to sequence them. This week we will move on to the months of the year. Phonics and Guided Reading will continue daily. Thursday will be at Sandbach cricket club. Please remember to come in PE kits. For Golden Time on Friday we will be baking (all ingredients provided by school).
