Creative Arts Week

Date: 8th Jun 2018 @ 8:03am

This week has been another fun-filled one! We made the most of the lovely summer weather (finally) and every class has been in the woodland creating the masterpieces you can see below.

Mrs B has been helping us make woodland art using weaving and natural resources. As you can see, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the results are amazing!

Mrs Allen treated us all to a session on food and maths combined creating yummy treats and even boxes to keep them in!

Mrs Mellor and Miss Killilea helped us create our new bug hotel ‘Buggingham Palace’. We loved hunting for the bugs which might live there and found lots of creatures to keep safe. We recycled materials and used lots more natural resources to create a space for our bugs to live.

Miss Killick helped us create our new Warmingham Sculpture which takes pride of place in our woodland. We applied the skills Dominic and Liz (Skill Supply) taught us last half term and made sure it was stable and very high! Miss Killick almost had to get the ladders out to help us attach our school flag to the top.

Children embraced all the challenges and huge amounts of fun this week (as you can see from the pictures) and there will be some bug-themed artwork available for you very soon. It’s been another action-packed week at Warmingham and a very fun one!
