Christmas Tree Decorating Competition at Arley Hall

A huge well done to our Eco Team, who worked hard on creating the Christmas tree decorations for the competition at Arley Hall.  An extra big 'Thankyou & well done' to those who attended the judging on Saturday.

We created a Christmas tree with a Chinese theme.  This linked to the Year 3/4 class topic and enabled the children to reflect on how other cultures/ religions celebrate Christmas.

Our tree looked amazing, adorned with chinese lanterns, wishes (inspred by the text Wishing Tree by Roseanne Thong) and wrapped around by a chinese dragon!
