We have an open-door policy and encourage all parents to either catch their child's class teacher on the playground before school or at the end of the day.    You can also contact the school office to make an appointment.    

Each Autumn Term:

  • Parents Evening to discuss how your child has settled into their new class, celebrate their successes, discuss progress made before setting new targets to work on in school and at home.
  • Maths Workshops to share expectations for the year and model the different strategies the children will be taught over the year.
  • Reading and Spelling/Phonics Workshops
  • Stay and Play sessions for EYFS (phonics)
  • Family & Celebration Worships (Every Monday and Friday)
  • Harvest Festival at St Leonard's
  • Remembrance Service at St Leonard's
  • Christingle Service at St Leonard's
  • Christmas Carols (KS2)
  • Christmas Production (Reception & KS1)
  • SEN STAR Meetings to review and set new targets - week before each half term.
  • Parent Council Meeting
     

Each Spring Term:

  • Parents Evening to discuss to celebrate their successes, discuss progress before setting new targets to work on in school and at home.
  • Information Evenings about SATs (Y2 and Y6), Phonics Screening (Y1) and Multiplication Check (Y4)
  • Stay and Play sessions for EYFS (Maths)
  • Easter Service at St Leonard's
  • Family & Celebration Worships (Every Thursday and Friday)
  • SEN STAR Meetings to review and set new targets - week before each half term.
  • Parent Council Meeting

Each Summer Term

  • End of Year School Report and drop in sessions for those parents who would like to discuss their child's report with their class teacher.
  • End of Year Picnic
  • New Parents Evening for our new Reception children
  • Stay and Play sessions for our new Reception children
  • Family & Celebration Worships (Every Thursday and Friday)
  • KS2 End of Year Production
  • Year 6 Leavers Service at St Leonard's
  • Sports' Day
  • SEN STAR Meetings to review and set new targets - week before each half term.
  • Parent Council Meeting
  • Annual Parent Questionnaire/Survey

From time to time we will also provide additional workshops to share new information or guidance with parents.   Please note that due to the current COVID restrictions, we are unable to offer some of our usual events.
