Reception class

What a fantastic start to their school life the children in Reception class have made. They have all show excellence in coming into school so confidently and are already following some routines, I am really pleased with them all. From next week they will be able to follow the rest of the school in lining up on the playground in a morning when the bell rings at 8.55am. I will put a note in their green books to explain further.

Thank you to all who have supported their child in completing their summer diary. The children have shown great enjoyment in sharing them with myself and their peers. Next week I will continue with my initial assessments of the children through specific activities and games. The following week we will commence our Phonics, Maths and English lessons.
