Forest Worship
Our forest worship sessions give children and adults the chance to slow down, step outside, and become more aware of God’s presence in the world around us. By spending time in nature, we learn to look and listen more closely - to notice God’s voice in creation, in stillness, and in the beauty of the outdoors.
Our week began with a beautiful Forest Worship led by Reverend Paul and Mrs Archer. Surrounded by nature, we paused to notice the “WOW” moments - the ever-changing world around us and the daily reminder of God’s love.
The children reflected deeply through simple yet powerful activities: blowing bubbles to symbolise releasing our worries to God, and tying ribbons to the fence as a gesture of gratitude for the people who support and care for us. As the wind catches those ribbons in the days ahead, may they continue to remind us to give thanks.
You Can Find Me!
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars, which you have set in place—what is man that you are mindful of him?” Proverbs 8:3–4
Taking time to pause and rest is essential, and nature gives us the perfect space to do it. Our woodland session with Reverend Paul and Mrs Archer invited us to slow down, listen, and appreciate the incredible world God has created. Children and adults explored the forest, noticing its beauty and creating artwork from natural materials.
God speaks to us constantly, often without words. He shows His power in sunsets, His nearness in a gentle breeze, and His love through the people around us. When we learn to look and listen with intention, we begin to notice Him in every moment of the day.
