Choosing a school place for your child can feel a little daunting – especially if this is your first child starting school. At Warmingham CE Primary School, we understand how important this decision is, and we encourage families to trust their instincts. You know your child better than anyone else.

Applying for a Reception Place
Reception admissions are for children who are due to start school in Reception the following September.
Applications for Reception places must be made through your Local Authority admissions portal (Cheshire East or Cheshire West and Chester), depending on where you live. When applying, parents should name Warmingham CE Primary School as their first preference.

Published Admission Number (PAN)
Warmingham CE Primary School has a published admission number of 84, with 12 pupils per year group from Nursery (FTE) to Year 6.
We hope to offer a place to all families who choose Warmingham CE Primary School.
In the event of oversubscription, places are allocated in line with our Admissions Policy, which can be found on the Admissions Criteria and Supplementary Information page.
Parents who are not offered a place have a legal right to appeal.
If you wish your application to be considered under the school's faith-based admissions criteria, you will need to complete the online Supplementary Information Form using the link below in addition to your Local Authority application.

Within 40 days of the appeal closing date, where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
