✨ Badgers’ Class Artwork – Daniel 3:16–18 ✨
As theologians, Badgers’ Class explored the powerful message behind Daniel 3:16–18, reflecting on the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and what it teaches us about trust, courage and faith.
Using what they had learned, the children created this striking artwork to show that even when life feels dark, frightening or confusing, God is always with us. When we choose to turn towards Him, we find strength, guidance and hope.
🎨 The symbolism within the artwork includes:
• Fiery colours to represent hard times, fear, pressure and challenge
• Dark edges showing moments when we may feel trapped, unsure or tested
• Three shapes representing Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – and also ourselves
• The light symbolising God’s love
• Figures turning to show the choice of trust, faith and courage
• Light within the fire reminding us that God may not remove our problems, but He will guide us when we follow His light
💬 The children shared thoughtful reflections, including:
• “Even in the fire, God is with us.”
• “When things feel dark, we can turn towards God’s light.”
• “Trusting God helps us feel brave.”
• “God shows us the way when we are scared or worried.”
• “We are never alone.”
This artwork is a beautiful reminder that in times of trouble, we can turn to God and trust Him to guide us through. 🌟
