Good Luck, Year 6

Class: Badgers (Years 5/6) Year: 2024 - 2025

As we reach the end of another school year, we’ve shared a truly special service - one full of happy memories, heartfelt tears, and excitement for the journey ahead.   It was a time to celebrate everything our children have achieved and to look forward to the adventures waiting just around the corner.

We laughed, we cried, we sang together.   And through it all, we were reminded of the strength, kindness, and joy that lives in our school community.

To our incredible Year 6 children: we are so proud of you.   You’ve grown into thoughtful, resilient, and compassionate young people.   You’ve made us smile, made us proud, and made a difference in our school.   Though it’s hard to say goodbye, we know you’re ready for your next adventure.

This school has been a place where you’ve laughed, learned, grown, and been loved.   A place where your light has truly shone.   Now it’s time to take that light with you - to new schools, new friendships, and new adventures.   We’ll miss you more than words can say, but we’re so excited to see what you do next.

Our leavers’ service was filled with music and meaning. From My Lighthouse to Over the Rainbow, Somewhere Only We Know to World Outside My Window, each song captured something special -memories of the past, hope for the future, and the courage to step into the unknown.

As we sang World Outside My Window to close our service, we were reminded that the world is wide, beautiful, and full of possibility.   Year 6, it’s waiting for you - with open arms and endless opportunities.

So  … as you step out into that world, remember everything you’ve learned here.   Remember the friends you’ve made, the love you’ve shared, and the light that shines in you.

Be brave. Be kind.   And never stop being you!
