Otters thoroughly enjoyed their special bible service yesterday. They had a guided tour around church by Rev. Paul who explained each of the key features of our beautiful church, before being presented with their own bible. What a wonderful way to welcome you all into our Warmingham family.

This week Otters have been exploring seasonal change. We talked about how the leaves change colour in autumn and fall from the trees. We went on a leaf hunt in the woodland then created our own leaf prints using the leaves we had collected and chalks. We also used conkers and acorns to create patterns in our maths lessons.

Hedgehogs Completion of the Orchestra of the Realms' Challenge
Hedgehogs' Class were delighted to have completed all the musical tasks this term and have been awarded our medals. This musical challenge has been captivating and enhused the children this term, to learn a medley of songs and learn about all about tempo, rhythm and musical notation.

Hedgehogs' Class created mood with their ocean scenes. We first painted the sunset to give mystery and then painted and ripped to create the collage for a stormy sea. Together, this created a backdrop for our sketches of Columbus' Santa Maria.
We then linked our ocean study theme to our design technology. We designed and created our own boats and tested them to see if they floated. To improve our designs, we engineered propellors and attached them to our boats, to make them move.
